Adamo’s 47-year career in media innovation and leadership is marked by significant achievements.  As Vice President at the NFL (2003–2016), he was instrumental in launching NFL Network, Thursday Night Football, and NFL Sunday Ticket Red Zone.  His leadership spurred advancements like NFL Replay, Next Gen Stats, NFL OTT production, Virtual Reality, and the digital modernization of NFL Films.  He co-founded Broadcast Boot Camp, helping over 100 former players transition to broadcasting careers.  His leadership of the NFL “Flexible” scheduling concept reshaped TV ratings and increased rights fees. Before the NFL, Adamo held senior roles with the NHL and New Jersey Devils, overseeing broadcasting, scheduling, and production. He created NHL Productions and introduced innovations like “net-cam” and robotic “over the goal” cameras.  Today, Adamo continues to drive media solutions as an NHL Operations & Studio Consultant. Starting at NBC Sports in 1978, he rose from Receptionist to Coordinating Producer, earning six Emmy Awards in his 15 years.  His expertise has been integral to high-profile broadcasts, including the Olympics, Super Bowls, Wimbledon, French Open, college bowl games, NBA, NHL, NCAA basketball and football, and anthology shows.
